DGC bids farewell to retiring principal

Dimapur Government College (DGC) organised a farewell programme for Kavili Jakhalu, who retired as principal of the college on September 30. A press release from DGC stated that, Kavili Jakhalu in her speech thanked the faculty and staff for their support during her tenure at the college. Farewell speeches were delivered by Alemla, VP, DGC, Dr Maongsangba on behalf of DGCTA, Kezhaleu Hesso on behalf HoDs, Ashok on behalf of ministerial staff, Khrienuo on behalf of the Deptt of Political Science, Viketo on behalf of DGC students council and Mithu Lkr.  

A short video tracing Jakhalu's enduring friendship with colleagues and various achievements during her brief tenure at DGC was presented by Meripeni Ngully, asso. professor History. Vivi Swu, asst. professor History and DGC male faculty presented special numbers. 

Launched on December 3,1990. Nagaland Post is the first and highest circulated newspaper of Nagaland state. Nagaland Post is also the first newspaper in Nagaland to be published in multi-colour.
