Dimapur Government College Alumni Association (DGCAA) organised a social work on August 17 around the college area.

A press release from DGCAA president stated that, the members cut and removed weeds and garbage from around the waiting shed construction area.

They also repaired 300 meters long green net fencing and banners along the tree plantation area.

DGC Alumni Association has already constructed twin main gates in commemoration of its Golden Jubilee and is successfully running a college canteen to meet the physical and economic needs of the students.

Alumni association is also constructing a waiting shed-cum-canteen with its own resources and expected to be completed by November 2019.

Alumni Association expressed gratitude to the college authority, teachers, students and friends for their support and contribution towards making each project a success.
