DHSK launches 3rd phase of MI

District Health Society Kiphire (DHSK) has launched the third phase of Mission Indradhanush (MI) at Kiphire village on July 16. 
The main objective of MI was to strengthen Routine Immunization (RI) in the district with the targeted beneficiaries from children 0-2 years, and pregnant mothers who were left out/drop out. 
A press release from district media officer Kiphire (NHM), Atsali T said Deputy Commissioner, Mohammad Ali Shihab, kicked- off the MI-EGSA for Kiphire district. He appealed to all the parents to avail the benefits of immunization to their children. He also thanked the medical team led by DIO Kiphire and Kiphire village council to further enhance Mission Indradhanush in the district. The DC further wished the mission to be more successful for the welfare of the people.
The programme was chaired by District Immunization Officer (DIO) Kiphire, Dr. Pewezo Khalo, who gave an overview of the mission. In his keynote address, Khalo mentioned that the programme aimed to achieve 100% immunization coverage of aspirational district, Kiphire.
The programme was also aimed to promote full immunization to every child at villages under EGSA. 
The programme was attended by Seema (RRT WHO), village council members, DH nurses, BPM, BEE, media officer, ASHA workers, GBs, and participants from Kiphire village.
