DIG (Range) organises literary competition

A range level literary competition was held at ADC conference hall, Mokokchung organized by DIG (Range/NAP), Mokokchung, under the aegis of Nagaland Police Family Welfare Association.

Children of DEF Mokokchung, DEF Mon, DEF Longleng and 2nd NAP BN participated in the competition conducted on three categories, debate, essay writing and painting. The topic for debate competition was “Is Plastic free Nagaland a Myth?” and the topic on essay and painting competition was “Plastic free Nagaland.” 
DIG Range debate competition on Human Rights awareness was also conducted on the same day on the topic “Naga Customary Practices and Tradition are in tune with changing times” which was also participated by members from DEF Mokokchung, DEF Mon, DEF Longleng and 12th NAP (IR) BN. The DIG range debate competition is an annual event and the winners were selected to participate in the State level debate competition. The selected participants in all categories of competition will also compete at the state level competition which will be held during the Police meet in the month of November.
The judges for all the competitions were Temsuchuba Jamir, EAC, Mokokchung, Sentinaro, Advocate and Limasenla Jamir, Asst. Prof. Jubilee Memorial College, Mokokchung.
The competitions were moderated by Pholosing Sangtam, Dy. SP (R) Mokokchung while Etssimongo Ngullie, DIG (RANGE/NAP), Mokokchung, gave the keynote address. The closing remark was given by Imtimeren, Addl.SP, Mokokchung.
