Dimapur DPDB recommends setting up of dialysis center

After thorough deliberation on the problem faced by the patients, the members of District Planning and Development Board (DPDB) Dimapur have recommended setting up of Hemo Dialysis Center at the monthly meeting held at DC Conference Hall, here on November 5. 

In this regard, deputy commissioner Dimapur, Anoop Kinchi, who is also the vice chairman of DPDB, will take up the issue with the medical department, DIPR reported. 
Earlier, medical superintendent, Kheshito, highlighted on the proposal for setting up of Hemo-Dialysis Center at district Hospital, Dimapur, informing the house that CSR, Airport Authority of India has decided to give 4 to 6 dialysis machines after the concerned authority give clearance for installation. 
Kinchi, who also chaired the first meeting after taking over as DC Dimapur, welcomed all the members. He asked all the members to take DPDB meeting seriously and to attend the meetings positively unless during unavoidable circumstances.
District transport officer Dimapur, Nyamo Jami presented the department’s activities with a power point presentation.
The board has also recommended for registration of four societies including Naga Forensic Society Association, Old Boys Association of Sainik School, Nagaland Chapter, Little Buds Educational & Welfare Society, Keren Sumi Foundation. It also recommended for upgradation of Christ School Ekhyo Yan till class VIII. Agriculture and PHE departments were entrusted to give a presentation of their departmental activities in the next DPDB meeting.
