District Task Force Kiphire holds review meeting

District Task Force (DTF) Kiphire held a review meeting at DC’s chamber on November 13 under the chairmanship of newly posted DC Kiphire, Ajit Kumar Ranjan (IAS).

According to DIPR report, some of the agenda discussed in the meeting were: To prepare facility quarantine at DUDA guest house; to take care of food and its preparation at CCC by the district administration; to prepare COVID-19 fund contribution expenses and reopening of school for the higher classes will be operated on students’ voluntary basis.
While presenting overall COVID-19 related case in the district, Dr. Dheni informed that total COVID-19 positive patients from Kiphire district was 23 but all have recovered and as such currently there is no positive case. He also informed that Kiphire has so far not seen any COVID-19 related death in the district. He said that 13 beds in general ward are kept ready which can further be increased to treat any suspected COVID-19 patients.
