Division is created by narrow concept

By Nagaland Post | Publish Date: 3/5/2019 1:03:42 PM IST

Division is created not by wrong leaders but by wrong concept. In the name of Naga Nationalism, the Naga National workers have now nearly ten groups and most of them are at Delhi for talking with the GoI for  settlement.

When the GoI and the NSCN(I-M) have been talking, the Naga general public have been remaining as mere silent spectators being sceptic that the talk can bring about a settlement. Since the recent past years, the GBs Federation of Nagaland took initiative approaching the Political Groups in Nagaland to be inclusive in the ongoing talk. In response to the appeal, 6 Political Groups went to Delhi. But according to their recent statement, they have had around 50 talks with the leaders of the GoI. It is not inclusiveness but it is separateness.

Let them be in division or unity, it cannot curb the progress of the talk. Whatever may be the weakness or the failure, the right is the right, reality is reality which can never be rubbed off by changes. Sooner or later the truth will prevail.

The Nagas rose up solidly for defending their RIGHT, not against India. But the horror of their defending for their own right is indescribable and now the ongoing political talk is meant for bringing about a settlement honourable and acceptable to both sides. The way of solution is not more or less than the truth and the truth is that first of all the entity of the Nagas is to be recognised and distinct entity will have own symbol which is having own flag and constitution which may be incorporated with the Constitution of India. This is the truth which cannot be distorted or twisted. Whether the Naga National workers are in unity or disunity, the truth is the truth and it will not die out. Nagas have God’s given right which is to be honoured by India. Recognition of historical truth of the Nagas will not endanger the security of India.
