DLSAs visit Observation Homes

Kohima District Legal Services Authority (KDLSA) headed by chief judicial magistrate & secretary KDLSA Phuleto Yeptho, visited Observation Home Kohima along with two panel lawyers on January 23.

A press release by NSLSA public relations assistant stated that, the team had an interaction with the JCWL, superintendent and counsellor of Observation Home (OH).
During the visit it was found that total number of fourteen cases was registered in the year 2019, one wherein six cases were disposed and eight are on bail and waiting for final investigation report (FIR). Total number of three cases was registered in the year 2020, wherein two JCWL are on bail and one is in Observation Home.
Dimapur DLSA team led by secretary Ajongba Imchen visited the Observation Home located at Chumukedima on January 22. During the visit the secretary interacted with the staff and children. Presently there are three children at the Observation Home.
Zunheboto District Legal Services Authority (ZDLSA) led by secretary ZDLSA Wokono Yhoshii, along with project assistant & panel lawyer ZDLSA visited Observation Home, Zunheboto & Mount Carmel Home Sukhalu village under zunheboto district on January 20. Team also interacted with the staff & children at Observation Home & Mount Carmel Home.
