DoSE to monitor mid-day meal implementation

Department of School Education (DoSE), Nagaland has introduced an innovative way in the distribution of mid day meal ration and cooking cost to all schools within the state. 

A press release from DoSE stated that, this was informed by principal director of School Education, Shanavas C on February 3. Department will issue posters displaying details of food grains and cooking cost distributed to each school covered under the mid day meals scheme for each quarter. 
Head of institutions of all govt. schools have been directed to display these posters prominently within the school campus throughout the quarter. 
The poster also displays a Help Line Number 6009256788 to which public can send complaints through SMS/WhatsApp if they come across any misuse of the scheme. Details of distribution are also made available at DoSE website
Principal director has requested all concerned school authorities, teachers, parents, student unions, NGOs and well wishers to extend support and cooperation to this initiative. 
He also cautioned that necessary action would be taken against the principal/headmaster/head teacher/teacher in charge of schools found not displaying the poster on the school notice board during inspection.
