DPDB Kiphire felicitates HSSLC/HSLC toppers

Felicitation programme for state topper-cum-DPDB meeting was held at DC’s conference hall Kiphire on June 10, under the chairmanship of minister of Geology & Mining, Soil and Water Conservation, V. Kashiho Sangtam.

According to DIPR report, minister congratulated all the students within Kiphire for their successful achievement and especially to the state toppers, Chumliba R from Loyola Higher Secondary School Kiphire, securing top 1 and Ayushi Pathak 8th rank from Loyola Higher Secondary School, both from Arts stream respectively, and Sumit Sahu from Saramati View Modern School Kiphire securing top 9th in HSLC. They were awarded certificates and cash from various NGOs and the minister’s family. Minister thanked all the toppers for bringing laurels to the society and as well as for the Kiphire citizens and urged them to continue their good work even in days to come.

Kashiho handed over free automatic hand sanitiser for DC office Kiphire and also for District Hospital along with cash of Rs. 100000 (one lakh) to District Task Force for quarantine centre and PS to minister also donated an amount of Rs. 50,000 towards DTF Kiphire. Nagaland Voluntary Working Women Association (NVWWA) donated 20 pairs of boots, 250 face mask and 100 pairs of hand glove to the district. DC Kiphire, Sarita Yadav thanked all the organisations, individuals who were contributing for tackling against COVID-19 including the minister’s family for their contribution towards the DTF. She also mentioned that there were more than hundred returnees from different states and as of now there were three quarantine centres i.e. Zisaji Government College, DUDA guest house and Loyola Higher Secondary School. ADC Kiphire, Nyempo Wallim requested all the heads of offices to follow the roster duty and to be supportive and caring towards all the persons in quarantine centres.
