Monthly district planning and development board (DPDB) meeting was held at town hall, Zunheboto on December 8, under the chairmanship of deputy commissioner and vice chairman DPDB, Peter Lichamo.

According to DIPR report, main agenda discussed at the meeting was upgradation of outpost Police Station to fully fledged Police Station at Atoizü town. Board was of the view that Atoizü being ADC headquarter and the law and order situation coming up occasionally in areas spreading to Asukuto town and other parts of the area, Atoizü deserved the upgradation proposed by the respective administrative head. The proposal was approved and recommended for further procedure. Earlier, the meeting reviewed the previous meeting’s agendas and introduction of new members. DC also requested the board members to clear off all the files before leaving for Christmas holidays.
