Dr. T. Ao Trophy: Nagaland draw Tripura 2-2

Defending champions Nagaland held Tripura to a 2-2 at the ongoing 2nd Dr. T. Ao Centenary NEC International Gold Cup Football Championship (U-21) at Guwahati on Sunday. 

Sourav opened the account for Tripura in the 22nd minute but Longkhoi found the equaliser in the 38th minute to end the first half with 1-1. In the second half, Bikas gave the lead again for Tripura in the 78th minute but four minutes later Muleyi Medeo managed to find the net to snatch a draw for Nagaland team. 
Nagaland will play their last league match against Nepal on February 25.
In other matches, Assam beat Sikkim 2-1, Arunachal Pradesh defeated Bangladesh by a solitary goal while Mizoram blanked Nepal 3-0 
From Pool B, Mizoram and Meghalaya have booked their semi-final berths, while Nagaland with a point sits in 5th place ahead of Tripura on better goal difference. 
From Pool A, Arunachal Pradesh have secured their semi-finals berth, while host team Assam is out of the contention.
