Dhansiripar sub-divisional GBs Union, Dhansiripar has extended support to the charter of demands placed before the state government by Civil Society Organisations (CSOs) on the alignment of NH129A undertaken by NHIDCL.

A press release by the union through its president, Dohoi has urged the government to take serious note of the seven-day ultimatum in the larger interest of people of the sub-division and the public in general.
The union stated in a welfare state, the citizens’ desire was paramount and should never be overlooked.
Meanwhile, the GBs union also appealed to the ceasefire monitoring cell to look into the recent raid on the residence of Kishore Jigdung by combined forces of Assam Rifles and Assam Police, which it said was “contrary to the ceasefire agreement.”
