DTF meetings held in Peren, Shamator, Tsg

Peren District Task Force & Join Action Committee (JAC) on COVID-19 meeting was held on August 24 at DC chamber, Peren. According to DIPR report, new members were introduced by DC Peren, Sentiwapang Aier, who is also the chairman of Peren DTF. Meeting discussed on the issue of the ongoing restriction of inter-district movement and while sharing public views and the implications of maintaining the restrictions, ADC, Jalukie Dr. Tinojonghsi Chang opined that the restrictions be lifted. After much deliberation the house decided to lift total restrictions in the district with effect from  August 27 onwards. However, regulation of public movements will continue as per the  standing  government orders and travel permit systems will continue to prevent uncontrolled public movements in the district till further notification.

Dr. Hedungkiebe DSO (Med) presented the COVID-19 status in the district and reported that 2 persons turned out positive from contact tracing at Athibung but the contacts of the two persons were negative. To ensure safety practices by active community participation the house entrusted Medical department to work out a project for the campaign so as to instil the community minds to take care of themselves through students, business organizations or church leaders. DTF also directed the Sub-Divisional Task Force to continue efforts to spread awareness in their respective areas. Survey report  of proposal site for sustainable COVID hospital and COVID Care Centre which was conducted by Medical department & NZPO members on August 20 as directed by the technical team was presented by Dy.CMO, Dr. Lanuakum. 
Shamator TFfC-19: Shamator Task Force for COVID-19 under Tuensang district held a short consultative meeting at cultural hall, along with the volunteers, resource centre in-charge, media cells, medical team, NGOs and 11 wards chairmen on August 25. 
According to DIPR report, Lankonsen Tsanglao ADC, chairman for TF COVID-19 Shamator spoke on the decision to dispense with a resource centre for time being, and the formation of new committee. Every ward will have a committee comprising of 5 members to supervise the home quarantine. Shamator has at least 50 plus people under home quarantine at present. ADC also said that the two quarantine centres may remain functional for any emergencies. Provision for TrueNat at Shamator CHC is also being initiated to higher authority and positive response expected.  Kiuji, YTC member, appealed the public to refrain from such unauthorized fake rumours which only create panic to the public. Yanhokiu, member of TF COVID-19 Shamator, also appreciated the villagers for setting up of village quarantine centres from the grassroot level. EAC Shamator also asked to refrain from social stigmatisation and decriminalisation against the frontliners or patients. Tsurito , YTC member, while appreciating students for their online classes, also appealed them not to gather at night as it was not the right time and might only create social problems. ADC informed that trial-based visitation of bank for customers will be done roster wise based on initial names by September. 
Tuensang DTF: Tuensang District Task Force held a meeting at DC conference hall on August 24, chaired by DC and chairman DTF Kumar Ramnikant. Medical department reported on the random test of high risk individuals wherein two COVID positive cases were detected. It was also reported that all primary contacts were traced and all necessary precautionary measures taken. DC also briefed on the status of BSL-II lab construction which will be inaugurated very soon. EAC (P), Mhashumi Ezung and Keyileuteing gave PPT presentation on COVID 19 awareness drive conducted in all the wards of Tuensang town.
