According to DIPR report, after reviewing the new cases of COVID positive in the district, the DC cautioned key workers to avoid lapses in managing cases and contact tracings. Meeting decided that medical staff will be temporarily withdrawn from the check gates due to difficulties faced by the Medical department in managing resources. House directed the Police on duty at check gates to continue regulation of SOPs by screening & monitoring of all inbound travelers, timely reporting to the control room and to direct travelers from outside the state to staging ground without communication gap.

Government and private institutes in and around Jalukie town will be insisted to maintain their own designated quarantine centres for better management of returnees.

DTF also directed the Sub-Divisional Task Forces (SDTFs) to monitor adherence of SOPs by the public especially travelers, review current situation and to report to the DTF by next week.

Regarding COVID Care Center (CCC), the DTF members decided to convert the existing quarantine centre at Girls’ Hostel Veterinary College to CCC for both male and female, while Chapel Hall GHSS Jalukie will be utilised as quarantine centre for male returnees with the consent of concern authorities till alternate arrangement is done.
