DTFI meeting on M-RVC held

The 2nd district task force of immunization on the Measles Rubella Vaccination Campaign (M-RVC) was held at DC’s conference hall on August 28.

A press release from NHM media officer, Mhonbeni Ezung stated that the chief medical officer (CMO) Dr. Robin Lotha chaired the meeting and welcomed the members. He thanked the line departments like schools & Social Welfare department for their continuous support in collecting the list of beneficiaries and coming forward for the trainings.

A short slideshow presentation on the completed activities of M-RVC like training status of stakeholders, sensitization, BTFI meeting and pictures were shared by DIO Dr. Khelito Zhimomi.

The DEO also shared her contribution to the campaign and said the School department would continue to give full cooperation to the campaign till the end of the program. ADC Mhathung Tsanglao encouraged the medical department and appreciated the efforts of  different levels of staff for the M-RVC. He also advised all stakeholders to extend full cooperation to the department to make children free of measles and rubella diseases in the future. Vote of thanks was delivered by Dy. CMO Dr. Zuben Kikon.
