During a virtual programme “Swachh Mahotsav 2020” organised by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs on Thursday, Mokokchung town was adjudged as the cleanest city of the North East under 25,000 to 50,000 population category, Chümoukedima in Dimapur district was adjudged as the ‘best self-sustainable city of the North East under 25,000 to 50,000 and Pfütsero under Phek district bagged the ‘best city in innovation and best practices of the region in the upto 25,000 people category.’ Acknowledging the efforts of the citizens of three urban areas, Patton encouraged them to maintain consistency.
