DYF open half marathon held

A half marathon race to officially kick of the second edition of Dimapur Youth Festival (DYF) was held on Tuesday. 

The marathon race was flagged off by Moa Walling, MD, MW enterprise. 

In the brief programme, Sentimeren Pongen, vice president, Dimapur Naga Students Union (DNSU) highlighted about the festival and dedicatory prayer was offered by Toshi Longkumer, associate pastor, DABA. 

Altogether, 95 runners participated in the race which covered 12 kms.

Nahtei N Wangnao emerged as the winner and received a cash prize of Rs 20,000. Tsole Yhokha and Manlei Konyak, who came in second and third position, received Rs 10,000 and Rs 5,000 respectively.

Launched on December 3,1990. Nagaland Post is the first and highest circulated newspaper of Nagaland state. Nagaland Post is also the first newspaper in Nagaland to be published in multi-colour.
