E-waste training at Unity College

Eco club, Unity college, in collaboration with E-Circle Dimapur, organized one day e-waste management training in the campus on February 25. 

A press release from Unity College stated that, Soweteii Letro and Bendangwala, of E-Circle, demonstrated hands on training and practical demonstration on how to manage electronic waste generated from homes. 
Emphasising on the importance of recycling and proper disposal of e-waste to reduce pollution in environment, the duo raised awareness on hazardous impact of e-waste on humans and its surroundings. 
Training was held in four sessions with various activities for students, focusing on the theme of “rethink, reuse/repair and recycle”. Training further concluded with students coming up with original and innovative ideas to spread message of e-waste management.
