Eden Medical Centre (EMC) Dimapur, which had suspended routine and emergency services after a COVID-19 positive patient was diagnosed in its ICU on July 18, informed that it would resume services (except ICU) starting July 28, 2020.

In a statement Monday, EMC through its director Dr. Lima Imchen informed the public that  the entire hospital and its premises had been disinfected and was “absolutely safe now.” EMC also pointed out that all protocols were followed in tracing the primary contacts and all were immediately isolated and presently kept at a quarantine centre. ICU and the entire hospital have been sanitized by DMC, it added.

Meanwhile, EMC has appealed to the public to allow its staff to move in and out of their residence/colonies, without which the Hospital would not be able to function efficiently.
