Edn institutions to remain shut till further orders: govt

All types of educational institutions, including schools, colleges, universities, coaching, tuition classes, etc, that are presently closed under lockdown would continue to remain closed throughout Nagaland till further orders. This was stated in an update on COVID-19 by principal secretary Home, Abhijit Sinha. 

Further, in an circular state chief secretary Temjen Toy has called for a meeting of administrative heads of departments (AHODs) and heads of departments (HODs) at Secretariat conference hall here at 11 a.m. on Monday in connection with resumption of functioning of civil secretariat and directorates at Kohima and Dimapur with skeletal staff. 

The meeting will work out details for ensuring basic functioning of offices and prepare list of officers and staff to perform duties. However, all other State government employees have been asked to remain at home and await further instructions from their concerned AHODs and HODs.

Meanwhile, the state government also claimed that the position of availability of essential commodities and goods continued to be comfortable across the State. The government further thanked everyone for their continued support and adherence to the lockdown provisions.
