 KDCC and NPF Kohima constitute district Election Coordination Committee: As a follow up of the April 2 coordination meeting between Kohima District Congress Committee (KDCC) and Naga People’s Front (NPF) Kohima Division, the two parties held a second round of discussions at Congress Bhavan Kohima on April 4 with regard to the Lok Sabha elections. KDCC convenor, Gonei-U Sirie and co-convenor, Kevi Vizo, in a press release stated that the meeting deliberated on strengthening cooperation between the two parties in the district and constituted a six member KDCC-NPF Kohima division Election Coordination Committee (ECC) with six members.

BJP campaigns at 37th Tuyi AC: 37th Tuyi AC BJP began its campaign under Wokha for the forth coming Lok Sabha General Elections on April 3. Deputy chief minister’s media cell, in a press release stated that the campaign was led by senior PS to deputy CM, Hachio Patton, along with state, district and unit BJP party workers.

Aonglenden NPF reiterates support for Congress candidate: A “revitalization programme” of the Naga People’s Front (NPF) 26 Aonglenden A/C was held at its treasurer’s residence, Ungma village on April 4. NPF Mokokchung Division media cell, in a press release stated that the party unit agreed to support the Congress party candidate in the coming Lok Sabha and 26 Aonglenden Assembly by-elections. At the program, the party flag was hoisted by the NPF Mokokchung division president, Moasangba Jamir.

Patton campaigns for PDA candidate: Deputy Chief Minister, Y. Patton campaigned at Wokha district on April 3 in favour of PDA consensus candidate for the Lok Sabha Elections, Tokheho Yepthomi. This was reported by the deputy CM’s media cell.
