Elohim Rongmei Baptist Church organizes VBS

Elohim Rongmei Baptist Church, New Jalukie conducted its 20th Vacation Bible School at Elohim Rongmei Baptist Church from July 9 to 15 under the theme “Get Connected”- Ephesians 2:19. 
The week-long Bible School was held with Christian education director, Aphun Gonmei as the VBS director, and with 19 VBS teaching staff including music team, church volunteers, VBS committee members, women department and a catering team.
Students were divided into six classes: pre-beginners, beginners, primary, juniors, intermediate and seniors. Children learnt Bible stories with activities and devotional themes for each day under the main theme “Get Connected”. There were also class activities presentations each day and Sing-Alongs led by the music team in the evening session.
On the final day, RBCA youth secretary, Jaogailung Gangmei spoke on the main theme. VBS Committee secretary, Hugiak Gonmei also thanked the staff, church council, church departments, volunteers, VBS Matung Phwam, catering team, donors, contributors in cash and kind, students, and VBS committee members for the services rendered in different capacities and for their participation which made the VBS  a grand success.
Altogether, 213 students were part of the VBS.
