In a bizarre incident,  empty beer cans were found inside a letter box at Nagaland postal division, Kohima allegedly dumped by miscreant (s). Superintendent of Posts, Nagaland Division, Kohima in a press release, stated that they found empty beer cans inside the letter box on Tuesday morning. The superintendent said that some of the letters were damaged by the beer spills.

Kohima Head Post office is located at the centre of the Kohima town and caters to the need of the public.

However, taking advantage of the location, the superintendent claimed that “some youths in inebriated state would gathered at the Post Office premises and play loud music till the wee hours, thereby disturbing the peaceful ambience of the neighbourhood”.

The guards stationed inside the post office premises have also appealed to the youths to maintain decorum but their appeal was ignored. Also, earlier some youth “deliberately” broke the iron bar in front of the Kohima Head Post Office, the release stated.
