With an objective to broaden the horizon of the cadets and improve their self confidence, verbal and written expression, and communicative skill in English, the school organised inter house literary competition which had concluded on August 30.

As part of the event, various activities and competitions such as calligraphy, essay writing, story writing, extempore speech and debate were conducted.

The debate competition on the topic, “Is US-China trade war an opportunity for India to project itself as a global market?” marked the culmination of the English literary week wherein the principal Gp Capt Prasun Basu attended the event as chief guest.

He presented prizes and trophy to the winning cadets of different houses. Patkai House emerged victorious in the competition. Chief guest addressed the cadets and emphasised on the importance of developing the ability to give an extempore on any given topic especially current affairs.
