eVIN-cum-immunization refreshers training at Longleng

Chief medical office (CMO) Longleng conducted one-day district level eVIN (electronic vaccine intelligence network)-cum-immunization refreshers training at CMO conference hall on February 13. 

A press release from CMO office district media officer, Roseline stated that, resource persons Rajesh Monsang project officer UNDP and Imli Longkumer project officer UNDP re-oriented the health workers on strengthening universal immunization programme, UIP schedules, session sites, mobilization, UIP recording and reporting, HMIS and eVIN reporting. They also spoke on the importance of advocacy with the stakeholders and social mobilization and stressed on capacity building of the communities, cold chain and vaccine logistics management etc. Resource persons also trained the cold chain handlers on temperature logger assessment and management, online demo, features and resetting, troubleshooting methods, field issues in eVIN implementation. 
Earlier, Dr Imnameren Phom DPO (RCH/UIP) in his welcome address appealed to all the participants to be attentive during the training so that when they go back to their own respective health units and perform their services accordingly. 
Training was attended by all the cold chain handlers, CHOs, GNMs, ANMs from all the health units and staff from CMO office.
