Ex-Parliamentarians Association of Nagaland (PAN) has welcomed the Naga political solution that was reached between the Naga negotiators and the Government of India on October 31.

A press release by ex-PAN president, Joshua Sumi believed that it was the will of God that the Nagas were destined to have a timetable of respite in peace under the present arrangement.

Ex-PAN while congratulating the negotiators for having brought the long standing impasse to its logical conclusion, further appealed to both the government of India and the Nagas to ensure that “the requisite passage is paved for safe landing of the agreements.”

Ex-PAN stated that this will be possible when there is cooperation from everyone and impressed upon the Nagas that better time has arrived to build a secure future for posterity.
