Expired goods seized in Mon

Teams from the District Administration, police, Mon Town council and Mon Town Students’ Union conducted a surprise checking in Mon Town to check sale of duplicate and expired goods on July 23 and seized a huge number of expired food items, cosmetics and drugs. 
The defaulters were ordered to appear before the ADC HQ and administrator Mon Town Council.
Other shopkeepers were warned and advised to keep away from this mal-practice and dispose expired and duplicate items themselves. 
The team also informed the shopkeepers to not panic but to cooperate with each other and the inspecting teams during such checkings.
The checking was led by Kumar Ramnikant, ADC Mon HQ; Yanithung Ngullie, EAC Mon; Vrinda Shukla, SDPO Mon;  Lanu Air, ASP Mon; and Chingmei Konyak, president MTSU.
