Fathers camp culminates in Senapati

Three-days long combined Fathers camp of Razeba Baptist Church (RBC) & Zelome Baptist Church (ZBC) successfully culminate today here at Bisho Koide under Maram region of Senapati district. 

The camp was organized by the Men Fellowship Department of the Chakhesang Baptist Church Ministers' Hill Kohima (CBCMHK) under the theme, "Stand Firm in the faith, be men of courage" (1 Cor, 16:13-14). 

A press release from camp media coordinator, Kuzhovesa Soho, stated that CBCMHK senior pastor Rev. Dr. Vevo Phesao, dwelt on the subjects, 'fathers role in the Church and society today and 'renewing marital vows and relationship', while CBCMHK head deacon Rhucho Tureng, and CBCMHK council Ex-Chairperson,Neikhwepe-u Khalo,  spoke on the topic, 'fathers' role in parenting' and 'family in the plan of God' respectively during the final day of the camp. 

The three-days long camp marked, personal devotion, bible study, free medical camp, recreational time including Football, tug of war, song competition etc. 

Meanwhile, church leaders and the campers were encouraged by the presence of Poumai Naga Baptist Association (PNBA) leaders led by its Rev. James, Executive Secretary, along with Rev. PD. Thaisu, Finance Secretary and Rev. P. Thaikho, Youth Secretary, who paid a courtesy visit to the ongoing camp and shared words of encouragement and expressed its happiness for coming to their land and organized such holy oriented programs. 

The release further stated that spiritual harvesting and social benefits were widely viewed upon and therefore, the Organizer expressed its profound gratitude to the Almighty God for His faithfulness and abundance blessings showered upon the campers in multitude. 

The RBC & ZBC expressed their deepest gratitude to the CBCMHK Men Fellowship Department in particular and the parent church in general for sponsoring the long awaited dreams of the 2 churches and humbly pray and looking forward of such innovative spiritual feedings. 

The organizers further thanked all the speakers, resource persons, program participants and all campers for making the camp a successful culmination.
