Felicitations programmes held for successful students

Under the theme “be focused, be bold and dream big”, a felicitation programme for Naga Adolescent Girls Club (NAGC), was held at Christ King Hr. Sec School, Kohima, organised by State Resource Centre for Women (SRCW) on May 8. 

According to DIPR report, chairperson, NSSWB, Bano Vinito, in her address congratulated the students and teachers for their achievement. She said education was not just about textbooks but beyond and that one needed to have a big mind and to carry “I can do it” attitude to achieve success in life. She added that passing high school is just the beginning and soon they will step into being more matured and responsible persons.
Bano, further enriched the students by saying that, to be successful in life one must hold onto God, because He was the only answer to everything. She also encouraged the students to continue to work hard, not to be distracted by the worldly things and to be focused in their studies. She said good education itself was an empowerment and encouraged the girls to focus on their education to be empowered and economically independent. 
Altogether 7 Schools attended the felicitation programme, namely Christ King School, T.M. Higher Secondary School, Oking Christian School, Modern School, Mezhur Hr. Sec. School, Bayayvu High School and Mewi Hr. Sec. School.
Earlier, felicitation was done by chairperson, NSSWB Bano Vinito in the programme chaired by state coordinator, SRCW, Gracy Aye. Welcome address was delivered by assistant state coordinator SRCW, Juliana Medom. Invocation was pronounced by research officer, SRCW, Meneno. NAGC coordinator, Khriezotuolie Chase gave a special song and vote of thanks was delivered by MSK district coordinator, Kesoneinuo Kense.
