Financial inclusion melas held at Pungro, Kiusam, Sanis

Financial inclusion mela was organized at cultural hall, Pungro town on February 6, with Durga Bora, branch manager, SBI Pungro, Shenlithong senior supervisor, Social Welfare Pungro and Khentsumew, GDS, BPM Pungro as resource persons. 

A press release from BPM, NSLRM Pungro Angelina stated that, resource persons elaborated on the schemes available in the respective departments or offices. Programme in Pungro was chaired by Kihola, AC-FI, NSRLM Pungro block, Lotsula, MBK Vongti said the invocation, Y. Hontan Chingkong, BDO Pungro presented the welcome address, while Angelina, BPM NSRLM Pungro elucidated the overview of NSRLM under Pungro block and Rothronge DC-FI briefed the gathering on financial inclusion. Theresa Zhinee, g/secy CLF Pungro Circle and Tsuyimla MBK Zhimkiur pronounced the benediction. 
The same resource persons also conducted similar programme at community hall, Kiusam town on February 7. Akhuba, AC-IBCB Pungro block chaired the programme and the briefing on financial inclusion was done by Rothrongse DC-FI, vote of thanks by Alemshe, president CLF Kiusam circle and invocation, benediction by Lemnong, W/leader Kiusam and Litanshe, VLO secy, Sangkhumti respectively. 
Sanis circle: Cluster wise financial inclusion (FI) mela for Sanis circle under block mission management unit (BMMU) RD block Sanis under the aegis of Nagaland State Rural Livelihoods Mission (NSRLM) was conducted on February 4 at Sanis town community hall. 
A press release from area coordinator BMMU Sanis block, Abeni Ovung stated that, B Wakhao J Konyak, BDO-cum-BMM RD Sanis block, emphasized on MGNERGA and encouraged the women folk to strive for the welfare of the community as they play a crucial role in uplifting the society in the grassroot level. Resource person Tiken Singh, lead bank officer (LBO) Wokha, highlighted on social security scheme on PMJJBY, PMSBY, APY and insisted the SHG members to avail the benefits provided to them by the bank/government to the fullest.
Representative from Social Welfare dept, T Zubemo Yanthan, block coordinator spoke on PMMVY scheme. He further stated the scheme can be registered from primary health center (PHC) and anganwadi in the village. 
Keynote address was delivered by Chumchithung Ngullie, BPM Sanis block and overview of Sanis block was highlighted by Phyochamo Tsopoe, AC-FI. Vote of thanks was delivered by Sulanthung Erui, AC-SI/SD and benediction was delivered by Nzanbeni. Programme was chaired by Nzamongi Mozhui and Abeni Ovung, area coordinators, BMMU Sanis. Echungbeni Erui, village facilitator (VF) Sanis village invoked God’s blessings. 
Bank account opening and filling up of social security scheme was done with the assistance of Orentsani Kithan, DC-FI, Wokha and Bank Sakhi Nagaland State Cooperative Bank (NSCB). More than 350 SHG members attended covering a total of 13 villages which consists of 89 SHGs.
