First look poster of ‘Hum Haii Rowdy SP’ released

 The first look poster of Bollywood Bhojpuri movie “Hum Haii Rowdy SP” was unveiled on Monday in the presence of DUCCF president, Tsenthungo Lotha as the chief guest and special guest, Naresh Jain at Murti Dance Academy, Nyamo Lotha Colony, Police Point Junction, Dimapur. The movie starts besides Dimapur based Munna Yadav, Hemant Birje, who played the role of Tarzan in 1985 flicks Adventures of Tarzan, Priyanka Pandit, Kalpana Shah and others. 

Speaking on the occasion, Lotha said that it is a matter of pride for the people of Nagaland that Munna has been able to take the name of Nagaland in the heartland of filmmaking in the country i.e. Mumbai with the new film that is scheduled to release later this year. He said that film industry is one of the most heavily invested industries in the world and though other states like Assam and Manipur have been getting ahead, whereas in Nagaland, things are just getting started. 

Acknowledging that it should have been a difficult task to bring local talents and Bollywood artists together for the movie, Lotha said that film industry can be a very thriving space for anyone with talent. 

NPF Minority Cell state president, Bishnu Bhattacharjee, who was the guest of honour for the event said that Munna Yadav has made much contribution to the film industry and the society in the state which is perhaps the first time that someone from Nagaland is directing a Bollywood movie. He also said that film industry has lots of opportunities for people with talents and it is not only actors and actresses that the industry is in need of but people from diverse fields. 

Munna Yadav in his brief remark said that the present generation has easy access to platforms and said that they should utilize them to expose their talents and have patience while they struggle. 

Short in three states, Bihar, Jharkhand and Nagaland, the film has Prince Mishra in the lead. Among other notable people attached with the film include singer Udit Narayan. 

The film was produced by Murti Films Creations and Arawali Ayran Devi Film Production. The event was also attended by NPF Minority Cell Dimapur district president, Roshan Tamang.
