Sudeva Residential Football School are currently conducting selection trails for U-13, U-15 and U-18 in Kohima at IG Stadium on Friday. 84 upcoming footballers below the age of 18 turned up for the football trails. 

Anuj Gupta,  co-owner of the academy observed that they saw some great untouched football talents even though the turn up was low, as per their estimated on March 1. He added that the academy firmly believe that Kohima has a lot of natural talent which is untapped. 

The co -founder further  assured that Sudeva Club will take couple of players from the  Friday talent hunt and trial on  March 3 to Delhi on scholarship. 

Gupta said the the climate in the state can produce not only national but international players, while hoping that more talented football players come forward to  showcase their skills on March 3 at the Indira Gandhi Stadium. 

The organisers have informed footballers  that the second selection trails on March 3rd will be held form from 12  to 5 pm  with on spot registration fee of  299 rupees. The trials will be personally supervised  by co-founders namely Anuj Gupta and Vijay Hakari.

Sudeva club are currently playing in second division I league and also owns CD Olympic Xativa - 3rd division club in Spain. The organisers informed that the players who are selected would get a chance to play in Spain or be a part of Sudeva’s Residential Football School, New Delhi and become part of Sudeva I-League teams in their respective age groups.
