Forest deptt captures leopard

Two days after issuing a public advisory concerning possible movement of a leopard in the fringe areas of Purana Bazaar ‘B’ area, the wildlife wing of the department of environment, forest & climate change (EF&CC), Nagaland has informed that the leopard responsible for taking of livestock and posing a threat to human lives has safely been captured and relocated on September 27, 2019. In a press release, wildlife warden Dimapur, Tokaho H Kinimi, said “It may now be safely concluded that the vicinity is free from any leopard menace.
