Free cancer screening camp in Phek

Phek district administration in partnership with Big Edge Solutions and Technologies Pvt Ltd Umang health centre, Hyderabad will be conducting free breast cancer screening camp within Phek district for early detection of breast cancer with CMET wearable device & themalytix technology from March 14 to 31 at different locations and sub-divisions under beti bachao beti padhao.

According to a press release, Phek deputy commissioner Sachin Jaiswal has advised women in Phek district to avail the opportunity and that, pregnant and lactating women were not advised to take up the screening test.
Further, women undertaking the screening should not have eaten food or drinks in last one hour before the test. Scheduled date for the camp will be March 24 to 25 at Pfutsero town, March 26 at Kikruma/Zuketsa, March 27 to 29 at Chozuba town, March 30 at Chetheba/Sekruzu and March 31at Phek town.
