Free IT training in Kohima, Dimapur, Wokha districts

Indian National Fellowship Centre (INFC), a Mumbai based NGO has worked out a school linkage program-computer workshop between Nagaland and Mumbai and three teachers from Upnagar Shikshan Mandal (USM), a reputed educational society, will be conducting IT workshops in Kohima, Dimapur and Wokha districts from April 23 to May 9, sponsored by the Saraswat Cooperative Bank, Mumbai.

A press release from PRO Raj Bhavan stated that in this connection, the Governor held a meeting with School Education director, Wonthungo Tsopoe and assistant director Nellayappan at Raj Bhavan for smooth conduct of the training.
The formal launching of the training will be held at Dr. N. Kire Government Higher Secondary School, Kohima on April 23, 10:30 am by School Education advisor, KT Sukhalu. Governor P.B. Acharya will also grace the function.  
The visiting three teachers are Nidhi Poddar, Trupti Jadhav and Snehal Sambre from USM Mumbai. On the final day of the training, Hemant Raathi, representative of Saraswat Cooperative Bank, Mumbai (sponsor) will grace the concluding function at Raj Bhavan on May 8, 5 pm. 
The following is the schedule and training centres: Dr. Neilhouzhu Kire GHSS, Kohima and 15 other schools from April 23 to 26 (Contact 9612187199); Pranabanand Vidyapith School, Dimapur and 15 other schools from April 28 to May 1 (Contact 9402832637); Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya, Doyan and 15 other schools from May 3 to 6 (Contact 8811870609).
Any teacher, who wants to participate in the training, besides the above mentioned  schools, can avail this opportunity by informing the training centres and attending training in their nearby training centres of Kohima, Wokha and Dimapur or Raj Bhavan (Contact 0370-2243518.)  The to and fro bus journey expenses and stay at the training centres will be taken care of.
