Fuel price cut

State-owned oil marketing companies decreased retail prices of petrol and diesel for the third consecutive day across the country on Saturday.  Petrol prices were cut by 15-17 paise while diesel prices were reduced by 16-18 paise.

After today’s rate revision, petrol prices in national capital Delhi declined to Rs 75.26 per litre while diesel was retailing at Rs 68.61 per litre.

In Dimapur, petrol price dropped to Rs. 73.10 per litre and diesel was sold at Rs. 66.28 per litre on Saturday. In Kohima, a litre of petrol and diesel was Rs. Rs.73.91 and Rs.66.91 respectively.

Domestic petrol and diesel prices are reviewed by oil marketing companies on a daily basis. Price revisions are implemented at the fuel stations with effect from 6 a.m.
