Fuel prices hiked for 4th day straight

Petrol and diesel price continued to go up on Sunday as well. After today’s price revision petrol prices went up by 21-23 paise while diesel prices went up by 29-31 paise across major cities in the country.

Petrol price in the national capital touched Rs 70.95 per litre while diesel rate in Delhi went up to Rs 65.45 per litre after a 29 paise hike.

In Mumbai, petrol price was hiked 23 paise to Rs 76.58 per litre. Meanwhile, diesel price in the economic capital went up to Rs 68.53 per litre after a 31 paise rise on Sunday. 

It may be noted that Petrol and diesel prices have been increasing since January 7, 2019, due to depreciating rupee and increasing global crude oil prices.
