Fuel prices slashed again

Petrol, diesel prices fell again on Friday as international crude oil continued its downward trend on Friday after a pullback earlier in the week. Fuel prices were cut by 39-45 paise per litre in major cities of the country today. 

After the recent price revision, petrol in the national capital is sold at Rs 70.92 and Diesel is sold at Rs 65.55. 

Meanwhile, petrol price stood at Rs. 67.10 per litre and diesel was sold at Rs. 61.52 per litre in Dimapur on Friday. In the state capital, a litre of petrol and diesel was Rs. 67.91 and Rs. 62.13 respectively. 

State-run oil marketing companies Indian Oil, Bharat Petroleum and Hindustan Petroleum revise fuel prices with effect from 6 a.m. on a daily basis.
