 In tune with central government initiatives to save and educate girl child and to generate awareness and improve efficiency of girls, third  leg of "Girls Music Band Competition" for Chozuba sub division as part of Phek district girls music band competition under the theme ‘Your Voice, Your Strength’ was organized by Additional Deputy Commissioner office, Chozuba, in collaboration with District Level Centre for Women- Mahila Shakti Kendra Phek at Vamuzo Memorial Town Hall Chozuba. 

Eastern Christian High School band Chozuba, emerged winner while Praise Girls band of St. Andrew High School Thenyizu and the Harmonic Girls band of Government Higher Secondary School Chozuba stood first and second runner- up respectively out of 12 Girl band participated. 

Women Welfare Officer, District Level Centre for Women, Mahila Shakti Kendra Phek, Vileno Kapu, highlighted about BBBP scheme and mentioned the importance of Girl child to step out of their comfort zone and discover their inborn gifts and talents. 

Meanwhile, the 4th leg of the competition for Phek Sadar will take place on July 24 at Phek Town from 3:30 PM onwards.
