Global Leadership Summit (GLS) India-Nagaland, vision casting and consultation meeting was held at Hotel Saramati, here at Dimapur on May 18.

Addressing the gathering as the special guest, DC Dimapur, Kevekha Kevin Zehol stated that it was an opportunity to be a leader and for someone to be a leader, one needed to be a lifelong student.

DC opined that, firstly, in order for someone to become a good leader, one should posses a curiosity to learn about something new or have a question about something. “We as leaders, if we don’t posses or lose our curiosity, we become redundant”, DC stated.

DC also stated that leaders should be dedicated and committed to help others and make them rise up. He elaborated that as leaders in different organizations, one should be an influence to the others. He viewed that spending time with students was not a waste of time but actually an investment for a better future.

GLS seeks to envision a movement of Christians and churches maximising their full leadership potential to impact the world and possesses a mission to inspire and equip world class leadership that ignites transformation.

Global Leadership Summit is a world class leadership summit founded in 1992 and hosted by Global Leadership Network (GLN). Presentation on GLS was delivered by GLS, Hyderabad, Sebastian, while Donray Shishak and Bano Haralu delivered brief testimonial address.

Earlier, the programme was compeered and welcome address delivered by pastor, Town Baptist Church (TBC), Rev. Vilodi and introduction of GLS and vote of thanks was delivered by partner, GLD, Dimapur, Prem Kumar.
