Gov, CM extend Tuluni greetings

On the occasion of Tuluni Festival 2018, the Governor of Nagaland, PB Acharya, has extended greetings to the members of the Sumi community and hoped that the festival bring peace, unity and prosperity to the Sumis in particular and Nagas in general.
In his message, Acharya described Tuluni festival as an occasion to rededicate oneself with renewed vigour to achieve peace, progress and prosperity. Acharya maintained that the festival should be a source for building unity and called upon all to come together and make the atmosphere conducive in towns and villages for peaceful co-existence and all round development in the State. 
“Let us also continue to safeguard and promote the rich culture and traditions through our festivals and come together and rededicate ourselves to make the atmosphere conducive in our towns and villages for peaceful co-existence and for all round development in the State,” he said. Governor called upon all to take time and thank Almighty for His unwavering love and blessing. 
CM: State chief minister, Neiphiu Rio, also extended greetings to the Sumi community on the occasion of Tuluni festival. In a tweet, Rio expressed hope that the celebrations foster stronger bonds and harmony amongst all sections.
