Gov interacts with Nagas in Shillong

Governor of Nagaland, P.B Acharya interacted with Naga elders, student leaders and officers and staff of Nagaland House, Shillong on July 9. 
A press release from the PRO to Governor stated that, Acharya in his interaction encouraged students to continue working hard and achieve their goals to empower themselves with knowledge. 
Speaking on the importance of skill development, Acharya said that it was important to have a course in skill and said that UGC had made it mandatory to introduce skill development in the curriculum. He called on students to be “game changers” and socially accountable. He told the students to be assets to society, become employable and embrace the entrepreneur work culture.
He also called on the people gathered to continue promoting the rich Naga culture and traditions and to keep their mother tongues alive. 
The Governor further encouraged them to inform the various targeted groups of the central and state government schemes for their benefit and all round development.
