Gov lauds CRPF for keeping peace

Governor PB Acharya paid a visit to CRPF Group Centre at Khatkati on Friday.   
Interacting with deputy inspector general (DIG) Shahnawas Khan and other officers of the CRPF Group Centre, the governor remarked that the Central police force had been contributing immensely towards peace, stability and harmony in the Northeast. He said the force had been fighting insurgency under difficult conditions and maintaining peace and tranquillity across the country, particularly in the Northeast.
Acharya expressed his appreciation to all ranks of the CRPF Group Centre who were serving 24x7 to maintain the integrity of the nation under challenging conditions to ensure security of citizens.
He also reiterated that every empowered person must reach out positively to motivate and identify the beneficiaries of Central flagship projects, including adoption of villages and government schools. This was stated in a press release by the PRO to governor.
