Governor convey festival greetings

Nagaland Governor, PB Acharya, has conveyed Rama Navami, Rongali Bihu, Vishu and Vaisakhi greetings to the Hindus, Assamese, Malayali and Bengali communities living in Nagaland in particular and people in general.

In his message, Acharya hoped that the festivals be a harbinger of a new dawn of warm and harmonious relationship, peace, prosperity and progress in the state. He said that all these festivals were cultural identities of different States and should keep them alive. Governor also said that festivals unite people regardless of their religions or backgrounds and promote the celebration of diversity. He expressed hope that the celebration of the festivals would reinforce love and goodwill among the people and also bring with it peace, prosperity and goodwill for the people of the Country.
