On the eve of Easter, the governor of Nagaland, RN Ravi, has extended his “warm Easter greetings” and best wishes to the citizens of Nagaland. In his message, Ravi called upon all to remember that Easter, celebrated around the world in memory of the resurrection of Lord Jesus Christ, symbolised ‘hope’.  “Hope for a new beginning following a sacrifice made out of pure love.  Jesus demonstrates the pure love for all mankind with selfless sacrifice.  His resurrection demonstrates victory of love over hate,” governor said. He said that this year’s Easter was being celebrated under the shadow of COVID 19 pandemic, which has compelled a country-wide lockdown. Governor, however, called upon all to celebrate this pious and joyous occasion at home with family and do things little different this year by making it a one of a kind celebration with just family. Ravi also urged to keep people, countrymen and humanity in prayers on the occasion. “We are in no doubt that the spirit of Easter shall prevail.  The COVID-19 shall be defeated,” he said wished a blessed Easter Sunday to all.
