Govt. issues guidelines on construction activities

In continuation of the order issued by the office of the chief secretary, Nagaland wherein directions for the strict adherence to the consolidated revised guidelines of lock down throughout the  state have been given with immediate effect up to May 3.

According to DIPR report, the construction activities allowed vide para 4 (I) of the consolidated revised guidelines has been further clarified as follows: 
1. Construction of roads, irrigation projects, buildings and all kinds of industrial projects, including MSMEs, in rural areas, i.e. outside the limits of municipalities/town/urban stations, and all kinds of projects in industrial estates.
2. Construction of renewable energy projects.
3. Continuation of works in construction projects, within the limits of Municipalities/ Town/ Urban stations, where workers are available on site and no workers are required to be brought in from outside.
Further, it has been informed that strict measures should be taken to ensure social/physical distancing and all other necessary health safety protocols.
