Hornbill International Film Fest ends

 A two-day Glocal Hornbill International Film Festival organized by Information and Public Relations Nagaland (DIPR) in association with Eastern Art Council and Nagaland Tourism department which was part of the Hornbill Festival concluded on Friday evening at Hotel Japfü, Kohima.

In the morning session, short films from the North East region were screened, afternoon session witnessed the screening of films from around the world while in the evening, film festival culminated by screening “Axone” the first Hindi film with North East theme and North East actors.

The movie was directed by Nicholas Kharkongor based on the life of North eastern people living in Delhi city who were discriminated by mainland Indian because of their colour and food habits. 

The movie director and actors had interaction with the movie fans after the show. People from different walks of life attended and witnessed the “Axone” movie screening.
