Hornbill Off Road Challenge held

Team 1 consisting of Aviu Rutsa and Neiketoulie Meyase, Ruokuobeituo and Pete was adjudged as the winner of the Hornbill Off Road Challenge on Tuesday. The off road challenge was organised by Nagaland Adventure and Motor Sports Association (NAMSA) and supported by JK Tyre.

The challenge was held at Mima village under Kohima district.

Top of the line drivers navigated through a course of 1.5 kms in six gruelling obstacles during the off roading event which made its debut this year. 

The off road test the capabilities of the drivers and their machines and also evoke the spirit of camaraderie among the participating teams.

Team 5 with Yanger Lushang, Maken Lepden, Bento Swu and Bovito Kiho secured second position while Team 3 with Ikwetheing, Kenrak Thou, Irietu and Elu bagged the third position.

Aviu Rutsa won the best off road vehicle and Abemo Yanthan received the best spotter award. 

Head of Operations JK Motorsports, Hari Singh gave away way the prizes to the winners.
