How is the world?

It would have been different story today if Mahatma Gandhi lived little longer, he said victory does not come from force but moral courage to resist submission from imposition. He continued if you do not want to be in Indian Union nobody will force you, I do not believe in force union.

But in reverse Indian used force, according to the book in “My years with Nehru 1948-64 by B.N. Mulich, Chief Intelligent Bureau of India pp. 308” ‘Troops moved into Tuensang by October 1955, and the war with Nagas started from then onwards’.

According to Statesman national paper in Kolkata elude 1957-58 budget of military operation Nagaland of Rupees 40 million and damage Rupees 39 million excluding military maintenance operation within 2 months. 3701 house were burned down, then the Armed Force Special Powers Act (AFSPA) regulation 1958 was signed and promulgated by President Rajender Prasad which came into force till up today.

The act was introduced to supress Naga Political movement thereby Naga people suffered 65 years till up today with three time Cease Fire signed by Naga political group and Indian Government and talk was in highest level from 1964-66, but no final Political settlement came to conclusion.

Then in 1978 Shillong accord the highest level talk with IM resulted to framework agreement which was signed in 2015.

Naga people believed that Indian Government is sincere and serious but today the world knows the attitude of the Indian hypocrisy.

India is proud to be the biggest democracy in the world but they ignored 1951 Naga Plebiscite democratic mandate with 99.99% through thumb impression.

Indian liberated East Pakistan to Bangladesh and they believed it was right, India led Afro-Asia country forum and advocated self-determination but suppressed Naga Political right.

With same reply what Amit Shah Home minister said in Parliament on 4th Dec,2021, it is ‘mistaken identity’, with same statement Naga people suffered last 70 years with mistaken identity and regret, therefore until these special act AFSPA repeal Naga people will suffer because it is a special act to deal Naga People political issues.

If India believe that Naga problem is political issue then special act of AFSPA should repeal immediately because talk is in highest level.

Ancient Egyptian civilization suppressed to Israelite but sovereign Lord liberated Israel, and thus Egyptian civilization died and buried in its own land but the history of Israelites people became the history of the world.

India cannot suppress Naga people forever, a day will come that Naga People will be free, then the world will come to know the Purpose of God.

Rev. Dr. V.K. Nuh
